Marc Brien
President and Owner
After working summers in his father’s construction business from 1984-1990, Marc opened MDK Contracting in 1991. Marc has extensive knowledge in all phases of construction and in addition to owning the business, he is present on the projects every day and handles all of the estimating, Client relations and all interaction with the building departments, Architects and Banks. Marc prides himself on his ability to manage both the company and the day to day expectations of his clients. He is married to Colleen Brien and has 4 children – Kayla, Kevin, Shae and Reagan.
Geovanny Plaza
Foreman and Lead Carpenter
Geovanny has been with the company for over 16 years. He is a master carpenter and runs one of our top crews. Geovanny’s crew handles framing, siding, and all types of Masonry.
Herb Brien
Project manager and Chief Financial Officer
Herb has worked in the construction industry since the early 1960’s. He has seen and done just about everything within the industry. Upon retiring from his own Real Estate and Construction Business in 2005, he has worked for MDK Contracting as their chief project manager and also handles all the finances for the company. Herb’s experience is virtually unmatched and his never ending desire to keep working has been an incredible source for MDK Contracting.
Wilmer Sanchez
Custom Carpenter
Will has been with the company for 4 years. Will specializes in custom carpentry. He is a master carpenter and specializes in high end interior and exterior trim and carpentry. Will installs doors, moldings, siding, decks, built in cabinetry, and all types of custom interior detailing. His workmanship is at the highest level and he also supervises two of our other crew members.
Nector Rivera
Project Manager and Top Craftsmen
Nector has been a key asset for MDK Contracting for over 25 years. Nector’s skills include all types of carpentry including high end finishing, Painting, Plumbing, and virtually every trade within the interior or exterior of any home or building. Nector is the clear “leader” within our company having trained almost all of our employee’s. He also supervises many of our projects and has been instrumental in working with our clients over the years. His personality and knowledge of the business make him incredibly popular with our clients.
Carlos Ramos
Lead Painter
Carlos has been with the company for over 10 years. He is a highly skilled painter and can handle anything from a one room paint job to an entire home paint job. He works both alone and with our other painters depending on the size of the project. His attention to detail is excellent and is trusted with making all of the work that comes before the paint job look it’s best.
MDK Contracting has many other highly valued employee's with skills that include all types of Carpentry Work, Brick/Stone/and Masonry Work, Tile and Marble, Painting, Siding and Demolition Work. By covering so many trades with our own staff we are able to ensure the highest level of workmanship while also having complete control over scheduling.
